IowaWORKS Mobile Workforce Center Central Iowa County Tour Success Report
The IowaWORKS Mobile Workforce Center completed a successful 2025 tour across seven Central Iowa counties—Warren, Dallas, Madison, Marion, Jasper, Story, and Boone. The initiative aimed to connect job seekers, employers, and community partners through accessible workforce services and employment opportunities to areas outside Polk County, where the IowaWORKS American Job Center is located.

Incumbent Worker Training Policy
Established on January 1, 2025, the policy provides guidelines under the WIOA to provide financial assistance to employers for training existing employees, aiming to enhance skills, retain employment, increase competitiveness, and avert layoffs.
